When I first started browsing for kitchen tables, I was surprised how difficult it was to find live edge river tables with rich textures, particularly in the river. After some browsing, I happened upon CreativeSoul’s Etsy page. I reached out and asked for details and recommendations. I had a vision for what I wanted, but it was somewhat dreamlike and undefined. Lorrie at CreativeSoul knew what questions to ask to help my vision materialize. Lorrie communicated with me from concept to delivery, sent me images that helped me refine my vision, and was very attentive to my many questions and musings. Ultimately, I ended up with something terrifically unique: an alpine stream between two rich slabs of black walnut, and a bench to match – all in a size and shape that is comfortable and functional. Even with the photos she sent during its creation, seeing it in real life gave me a new appreciation for the complex textures of this wood, the multilayered, flowing textures in the river, and the care and skill required to create such a gorgeous piece. I am very grateful for and happy with what we created.
